Taco Bell and Forever 21 Spice Up the Fashion World
Taco Bell is partnering with Forever 21 and making a run for the dressing room. The two brands have created a limited-edition line of t-shirts, jackets, bodysuits and pullovers with graphics that fit with the creative, quirky and fun nature of the Taco Bell brand. This is the first foray into a clothing extension for Taco Bell as they seek to reach a new audience at the popular fast-fashion retailer, who in turn hopes that shoppers stick around to pick up some additional fashion to complement their new Taco Bell wardrobe.
NBA Stars Star in Feature-Length Film
A new trend sees younger Millennials and Gen Z attracted to brands that extend the life of their favorite content. Pepsi is taking advantage of this trend to create a feature-length movie about popular TV commercial character Uncle Drew, who happens to be played by NBA superstar Kyrie Irving. The film will be released in theaters next summer and will feature an all-star NBA cast including Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber and Nate Robinson.
Amazon and Hilton Partner to Use Honors Points
While cryptocurrency and digital payment methods are making headlines these days, Amazon and Hilton have quietly partnered to allow Hilton Honors members to shop on Amazon using Honors points. Other than digital content and a few other categories, most Amazon items are eligible for points payment, with 500 points equaling $1. While Hilton is the first points partner for Amazon, there are plans to partner with other companies that have points systems for their loyal customers.
