XBOX CREATES A PLACE TO STAY AND PLAY ALL NIGHT LONG

In Sydney, Xbox got in on the pop-up trend with a four-suite installation that gamers were able to book for all-night gaming sessions. The Xbox Stay N’ Play was only available for three nights leading up to the launch of the Xbox One X console. Rooms came with room service, a concierge to deliver games to the room and an Xbox-branded onesie for taking naps (and to take home). Those not lucky enough to snag an overnight booking could still walk into an open lobby from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day to get a console preview and try out some of the new games.

In Japan, KFC continues to live up to their reputation for odd partnerships and product offerings. One hundred lucky fans will have a chance to win a drumstick-shaped bath bomb that smells like fried chicken. HONDA TRANSFORMS GARAGES INTO POP-UP DEALERSHIPS

In France, Honda lacks dealerships. To help solve this problem, they turned eight loyal fans’ home garages into pop-up dealerships to help showcase the 2017 SUV lineup. The Honda Next Door campaign ran for three weeks and allowed interested shoppers to sign up for drive times from these suburban locations. The program was so successful that Honda plans to expand it into other European countries.
