Conquering crowds and confusion with a lot of data and a little fun for Dreamforce.

The Challenge

Dreamforce is the annual Salesforce user conference that literally takes over downtown San Francisco every year. Salesforce brings together over 170,000 thought leaders, industry pioneers and IT professionals. With such a large campus and so many activities, attendees need help making the most of their time and realizing the full force of Dreamforce.

The Idea

Salesforce needed to help these trailblazers navigate the massive crowds, world-class speakers and hundreds of events all over town. Our vision was to integrate innovative, onsite concierge services throughout the experience by digging into attendee data and mapping out the physical conference space curated for them. We wanted to let attendees get the most out of their Dreamforce experience—and with a simple scan of their conference badge, we figured out how to do just that!

The Solution

We delivered The Dreamforce Navigator, a user-friendly kiosk and mobile app that allowed attendees to blaze new trails and discover inspiring new technologies. This innovation navigated the attendees’ journey to optimize their experience. We saw thousands of unique users access the Navigator and tens of thousands of sessions over the duration of the conference.
