BREWDOG BREWERY CHECKS IN TO THE HOTEL BUSINESS
The DogHouse—the world’s first crowdfunded, beer-themed hotel—will open in Ohio later this year, next to the BrewDog Brewery. Each of the 50 rooms will come with Punk IPA (the brand’s flagship) on tap, as well as a stocked in-shower beer refrigerator. Limited-edition brews will be available from the brewery next door, and the luxury suite will come with an IPA-filled hot tub. The spa’s products will even feature ingredients with a beer theme.

NYC WILL FIND OUT WHAT’S TRENDING ON AMAZON … IN A STORE
Amazon is testing another style of brick-and-mortar store: Amazon 4-star. The store in NYC will only sell items that have been rated 4 stars or better on the Amazon website. A company press release stated that members of Amazon Prime will pay amazon.com prices, which might mean non-Prime members will pay a slight premium. The store will also have a curated localized section of products called “Trending around NYC.”

DOVE AND DUNKIN’ GET TOGETHER FOR AN UNLIKELY PROMOTION
Recent research has found that millennial women are big fans of dry and no-rinse shampoo products because they help get them going in the morning. With that insight in mind and their own “get you going” product, Dunkin’ Donuts has partnered with Dove’s dry shampoo for a National Coffee Day cross-promotion social media contest. The contest asks women to share photos and stories of their busy morning and how Dove and Dunkin help them get going.
