Target introduced its AR "See It in Your Space" app feature a while ago, allowing shoppers to imagine home décor in their spaces before they buy. This holiday season, Target added Christmas trees to the options available via See It in Your Space. The AR experience allows shoppers to see true-to-life-size trees in their homes so that they are sure to purchase just the right size. According to Target, tree sales this year have more than doubled.

The fashion industry creates a lot of waste, from the processing of raw materials to the production of final products. To bring awareness to this issue, Norwegian clothing brand Carlings created a virtual-only clothing collection that shoppers could purchase and have a CGI expert affix to a picture of themselves. Shoppers were then encouraged to share their pictures to their social media channels. All proceeds from the sale of this collection were donated to the charity WaterAid.
