ISRAELI HEALTH SERVICES IS MORE PROACTIVE THAN EVER
In Israel, Clalit Health Services is using patient data and artificial intelligence to move toward a predictive and proactive care model with actionable steps. For example, the tool can be used to predict the early stages of kidney disease and recommend steps the doctor and patient should take to avoid moving to the dialysis stage. More recently the system identified the 200,000 most vulnerable COVID-19 patients, who were alerted to stay home and contact their doctor through technology versus in-person.
