SAY YES TO THE AUGMENTED REALITY DRESS
Earlier this year, we brought you a story about how David’s Bridal was innovating through virtual styling appointments. Now David’s Bridal is making it even easier to shop for a wedding dress thanks to augmented reality. Instead of having to walk into a store, brides can bring the excitement of dress shopping into their living room. This immersive, AR-based shopping experience provides a 360-degree view of the dress, lets the bride-to-be walk around the room and so much more.
YOUR VOICE—THE NEWEST WAY TO SHOP AT RETAIL
Imagine for a second going into a store today. The overpromises of contactless experiences during the pandemic are just that—overpromises. There are still checkout touchscreens, payment PIN pads, shared mobile devices and more—that all involve contact. One emerging technology is out to change this: voice tech. Businesses from 7-Eleven to Domino’s Pizza to Giant Eagle are helping voice tech to rapidly become a retail necessity. Do you think this pandemic-inspired trend will pick up and change the way we interact at retail?
PRIME DAY HAS SOME COMPETITION NEXT WEEK

But Amazon isn’t the only retailer to host special savings days. Target has announced that Target Deal Days is happening on those very same days with deals lasting the full 48 hours. And Walmart is bringing back its annual “Big Save” event all next week, starting Sunday, with “Black Friday-like savings on thousands of items.”
