COORS LIGHT CAMPAIGNS TO INDUCT POTENTIAL HALL-OF-FAMER
Tom “The Iceman” Flores, the first Latino to hold positions in the NFL as both a quarterback and a head coach, still hasn’t made it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Through limited-edition cans that display a photo of The Iceman, TV spots, mobile billboards and beer rebates, Coors Light is putting a lot of energy behind the recognition effort. This comes as holiday campaigns are ending and Super Bowl campaigns are ramping up. It doesn’t hurt that Flores is a “noted Coors Light drinker.”
GROCERY PICKUP GOT A WHOLE LOT EASIER AT ALBERTSONS
Albertsons is introducing an automated curbside pickup kiosk at one of its Jewel-Osco locations in Chicago. Grocery orders are robotically moved inside the kiosk to the front for pickup. This is part of a larger automation movement for Albertsons, who increased its micro-fulfillment centers last year. There are plans to install a second kiosk in San Francisco sometime soon. Would you take advantage of this curbside kiosk?
