AR-BASED CHALLENGES INSIDE NYC NIKE STORE

Nike is bringing augmented reality to its New York City “House of Innovation” store with help from Hovercraft Studio, an AR tech provider. Together they have developed a digitally enabled discovery center for shoppers to check out the new All Conditions Gear product line. Once in the experience, shoppers get to interact with animated wildlife, take in product innovation stories and play through AR-based outdoor challenges. There’s also a component of this program for shoppers who don’t want to visit the brick-and-mortar store.

Procter & Gamble and Stop & Shop have teamed up to help shoppers tackle the Super Bowl from home. With discounts on P&G products, recipes from Top Chef finalist Tiffani Faison and the help of former New England Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown, Stop & Shop looks to entice those who are holding stay-at-home Super Bowl parties into shopping for those celebrations. Tack on free delivery for shoppers spending $30 on certain P&G products and this becomes a disruptive program for the New England area retailer.
