Partnering with NBA 2K21, Burger King is making it easy for gamers to score free food by making shots from different spots around the basketball court. All gamers have to do is make a basket while standing on a food or drink decal on the court and they can get those items for free. This is just another way Burger King has tried connecting with gamers as a brand. Previous engagements include a FIFA20 free-food challenge and a PlayStation-based delivery service dubbed Burger Clan.

H-E-B is planning to open flagship brand stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth market after 116 years in business. Known for offering products and services targeted to local shoppers, this brand will surely get a big welcome from North Texas residents. To clarify, H-E-B has been in the North Texas area under the Central Market name for years, but that banner serves a more affluent customer. In 2022, H-E-B will open stores in both Plano and Frisco.

With over 9,000 locations in the U.S., the Dunkin’ brand has just hit a new milestone in rolling out its 1,000th updated Next Gen store. One major aspect of the update is dropping “Donuts” from the name. The full rollout process will take years and includes a format that’s both more sustainable and more energy efficient while better meeting the needs of on-the-go customers. Additional store locations are planned as well.
