The future is here! Starting this spring, Kroger is rolling out grocery delivery via drone. Made and piloted by the aptly named Drone Express, test flights will launch in Centerville, Ohio, before expanding this summer to California. And the service is more than just novel, it’s fast too—with 15-minute estimated delivery times. With the focus on small orders under 5 pounds, these drones are designed to roam, allowing customers to order delivery to their backyard, the park or even the beach.

PEPSI’S LAUNCH OF VIRTUAL BEVERAGE-CENTRIC RESTAURANT CONCEPT

Pepsi has launched a “beverage-first” restaurant concept called Pep’s Place, where consumers can select their preferred beverage then pair it with complementary foods, reversing the standard dining experience.
