THRIVE MARKET LAUNCHES SIGNATURE MEALS USING BEYOND MEAT

Thrive Market, an online organic grocer, has launched its own signature meals in partnership with Beyond Meat. Consumers can purchase Thrive Market’s plant-based meals at $79.99 for a 10-pack and can select from enchiladas, lasagna, pasta Bolognese, and shepherd’s pie. This is the latest in a growing plant-based trend: 2020 saw a 27% increase in plant-based foods and beverages, with sales up 45% for plant-based meat alternatives.

Pepsi has launched a “beverage-first” restaurant concept called Pep’s Place, where consumers can select their preferred beverage then pair it with complementary foods, reversing the standard dining experience.
