To celebrate the announcement, Coors Light opened Plastic-Free Future Mart, a pop-up experience, in New York earlier this month. Driscoll’s opening indoor strawberry farm
Driscoll’s, which sells roughly one-third of the North American berry market, has partnered with indoor agriculture company Plenty to open a dedicated vertical strawberry farm. The farm will supply customers in dense, urban areas throughout the Northeast with fresh strawberries. By using Plenty’s indoor farming techniques, Driscoll’s has the potential to increase output a massive 150 to 350 times per acre. Plenty can learn from Driscoll’s plant genetic expertise as the indoor vertical farming market takes off.
