Coca-Cola gives nod to gamers

Introducing Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Byte, a flavor designed to bring pixels to life. This nod to gamers includes a partnership with gaming company PWR to create Pixel Point Island, which resembles Tron and includes various games and interaction with other players. Consumers can also enter an AR experience accessed through the Coca-Cola Creations website. This new flavor will be available May 2.

Walmart Health adds concept clinics in new market

Walmart’s adding five new health-care concept clinics in the Sunshine State. The retailer’s freestanding health clinics provide patients with various services—from primary care, labwork, and X-rays to hearing, optical, and more. Locations across Florida will also feature Epic health technology, a comprehensive record-keeping system widely used in over 45,000 health-care clinics and 2,000 hospitals across the country. The first Florida store opened April 5 in Jacksonville, and four more will roll out by mid-June.

Giant unveils interactive end caps featuring Dove

Grocery retailer Giant, based in the Washington D.C. area, has unveiled in-store digital activation highlighting Dove skin-care products. This activation features new integrated technology developed by Perch that senses which products a shopper touches and responds with informational video content for the same items via digital screens.
