Utilizing the evermore realistic (read: scary) deepfake technology, the Round Mound of Rebound teamed up with a younger version of himself, donning period Suns swag and promoting FanDuel’s “Think Like a Player” campaign.

Never a corporation to leave a box unchecked, Amazon has now teamed up with Pokemon GO creator, Niantic, to develop a virtual AI/AR shopping experience within Peridot, Niantic’s new mobile game. Users can now make in-game purchases (Peridot-branded merch, naturally) by connecting an Amazon account to a Peridot account. Amazon Anywhere seeks to establish an easier path to purchase from the world created within a game to the real world outside of it with this hybrid, or phygital, reality.
