Wendy’s is pushing its signature Frosty with a “Buy U a Drank” remix, and it is by far the coldest thing you’ll see today. Teaming up with noted pop culture enthusiast and hip-hop artist T- Pain, Wendy’s is another in a series of brands that have remixed hit songs and released them as marquis items within product push. The video for “Buy U a Frosty” is currently viewable on the Wendy’s YouTube channel, and soon it will be available—if it isn’t already—on TikTok to duet.

THE DEAL WITH REAL
Even for the experts, it is getting harder and harder to tell which resale product is real and which is, well, not real. In few places is this more of an issue than within the IYKYK world of streetwear, an industry built on hyper-specificity as well as hype. Online reselling platform eBay now seeks to help out the regular guy (present 👋) and the collector alike with a heightened effort to ensure the authenticity of streetwear auctioned on its website. The move is an expansion of eBay’s newly announced Authenticity Guarantee.
SMARTER THAN THE AVERAGE CART
Morton Williams, a New York City-based supermarket chain, will be the next retailer to employ the efforts of smart carts. Sold by Israel-based A2Z Smart Technologies, the carts help to simplify the checkout process, offer specific deals and promotions to users as they shop, and even give the retailer restocking alerts. One hundred carts will be spread across Morton Williams’ 15 stores located in Manhattan, the Bronx, and New Jersey.
