With the ear of C-level executives of the top companies in the country, Charlie is at the pulse of retail and the commerce marketing industry. He has over 20 years of experience being a retail innovation kickstarter.

Before launching Shoptology in May 2013, Charlie held top leadership roles at Saatchi & Saatchi X that included serving as CEO, North America beginning in 2008. In his long-standing partnerships with the globe’s largest brands such as Procter & Gamble, Diageo, Wendy’s, PepsiCo, 7-Eleven, and Walmart, Charlie has helped drive strategic insights, creative innovations, digital capability development, and results. For over two decades, Z has been immersed in the retail and commerce landscape. As a creative leader and strategic partner, she's helped Fortune 100 brands such as Shell, Tyson Foods, GSK Consumer Healthcare, Kimberly-Clark, L’Oreal and Unilver navigate the interconnectivity of seamless shopping and accelerate their business. Her creative campaigns have been recognized by Effies, REGGIEs, and The One Show Interactive Award.

In addition to her commerce creative leadership, she also served as Managing Director at a corporate reputation agency working with political strategists to develop comms and campaigns to help companies navigate market, environmental, and organizational changes.

Karen Gebhart

Karen is a retail marketing veteran with 25+ years of experience partnering with the world’s leading brands and retailers to create breakthrough solutions and engaging experiences. At Shoptology, she leads the Account Service function, working across offices and our client portfolio to provide thought leadership and deliver innovative work. Her enthusiasm for retail and commitment to driving brand and category growth inspires excellence among teams and clients equally.

Prior to joining the leadership team at Shoptology, Karen led CPG, technology, and healthcare assignments at top agencies including TBWA, FCB, Epsilon/Ryan Partnership, G2/Grey Global, Y&R, and Carmichael Lynch. She has been a tested and trusted business partner across all commerce channels for clients including Walmart, Kraft Heinz, Clorox, General Mills, Conagra Brands, Bel Brands USA, Bimbo Bakeries, Comcast Xfinity, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Novartis, Philips, and more.

With 20 years of brand strategy experience, Wells has inspired campaign ideas that have delivered awards as well as bottom-line results. After spending the first half of his career as a classically trained brand planner—defining brand positioning and strategy for CPG, pharmaceutical, financial, and beverage-alcohol clients—Wells understands that brand-building and business-building efforts can be mutually beneficial. He's passionate about bringing those efforts to life through high-engagement digital and IRL activations that produce measurable results.
